BY BICYCLE: Bicycle racks are located in The Hepworth Wakefield car park on Thornes Lane and on site at the disabled parking bays by our main entrance. Cyclists are requested to dismount before entering The Hepworth Wakefield grounds, cycling is not permitted on the pedestrian bridge. RAIL: The gallery is 1 mile from Westgate train station – (approximately 20 minutes’ walk) and 0.3 miles from Wakefield Kirkgate train station (approximately 8 minutes’ walk). Long distance services operated by East Coast Trains & Cross County Trains serve Wakefield Westgate Station, along with some local services. Wakefield Kirkgate station is served primarily by local services, along with some long distance services provided by Grand Central Trains. The Hepworth Wakefield bus stop is adjacent to the Wakefield Waterfront on A61 Barnsley Road and the gallery.
