Sao Paulo. – we stumbled upon Loducca Advertising Agency by architecture firm Triptyque on a busy road on the way to the famous Musue Brasileiro de Escultura (MuBE) by Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
Facing the busy main road the building envelope is a sequence of horizontal timber slates or filters that plays at blurring the boundary between private and public space. According to the architects (Triptyque), the function of the slatted facade plays two opposing roles: “…it allows the public eye into the building, creating an interconnecting visual game between the public and the private eye, but at the same time allowing some privacy…” more details on Loducca Advertising Agency
