From New York City and points west, take the Long Island Expressway east to Exit 70. Turn right and go approximately 4-1/2 miles south to Route 27 East. Continue on Route 27 East for approximately 19 miles to the stop light just east of BMW Southampton. Continue left at light on 27 East, now also called Montauk Highway, and travel approximately ½ mile. The Museum is located on the north side of the road just east of Duck Walk Vineyards in Water Mill. Parking is available to the rear of the Museum building.
The Long Island Railroad, and Hampton Jitney offer regularly scheduled service from Manhattan to Southampton.
