tours: guided tours from start of May to the end of November admission cost: from US$30.00 (included in price of tour) and must be booked in advance website: philipjohnsonglasshouse.org getting there: Tours begin at the Visitor Center located at 199 Elm Street in downtown New Canaan, CT. The center is conveniently located across from the New Canaan train station. Visitors are transported from the Visitor Center to the Glass House site in a shuttle van – approximately a 10-minute drive. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for their tour allowing ample time to browse the products in the museum store and to view the video exhibition and Oral History Project films, which are currently on display. Please note: * All visitors are encouraged to check-in at the Visitor Center 20 minutes prior to tour departure. * Tours include a ¾-mile outdoor walk across some uneven terrain. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable shoes and attire as all tours will take place rain or shine.
