if the expression “mega-flagship” is confusing, just think of it as a department store with only one brand. Armani/Fifth Avenue is a four-floor retail space with an impressive glass facade and sculptural staircase inside. You’ll find every Armani range under the sun at this store and even a full service restaurant and cocktail bar. To commemorate its opening, Giorgio Armani gave one million dollars to The Fund For Public Schools, so let that be an indication of the budget on this project. Multiply your estimation by two years and divide that by x number of handbags and you’re beginning to understand the concept.
